Kishtwar clashes
The 2013 Kishtwar Riots, which claimed three lives and injured eighty more, took place between Muslim and Hindu communities on the aftermath of Eid festival on 9 August 2013 at Kishtwar, Jammu and Kashmir.
==Initial clashes==
As muslims were offering prayers on the festival of Eid ,some miscreants from other community pelted stones on the muslims who were inside the eidgah.Later it was revealed as a preplanned activity to create communal disharmony for electoral gains.The riots led to the killing of one hindu and two muslims.〔http://india.blogs.nytimes.com/2013/08/14/the-flames-of-kishtwar/?_r=0〕
